Hello!
I am so excited to share my journalistic journey with you.

I am currently a journalism major studying at Cal Poly SLO. I began publishing articles in Fall 2019 through Carlmont High School's media arts program. Then in January 2020, I joined the Highlander editor intern team. I practiced editing and designing articles for our printed newsmagazine. I became the editor of the center spread and I design it in full.

Outside of journalism, I am on the Cal Poly Club Swim Team, and was a past member of my high school Associated Student Body, as Senior Class Vice President and spirit commissioner. Back home in the Bay Area, I work as a Para Educator substitute at a local K-8 district and as a cake decorator at Baskin Robbins. I wish to pursue a career in teaching high school journalism after college.
